I have been sent Mickey Mania, for Playstation. This game was released on SNES, but the Playstation release seems to have been cancelled. 1. Is this game released already? Pal or ntsc? ( was sent ntsc version)

Depends on how early it is. If it still has the Mickey Mania title, it may be a rough and dirty port of the SNES code compiled for the PlayStation. There were some tweaks made for the PlayStation port to spiff it up a bit so from a development perspective it might be neat to look it. As far as I know, the NTSC version never shipped. On the other hand, if it's fairly close to release code it's hard to say. You could have a lot of interest because it's Mickey and the game was originally planned as a sort of birthday tribute to the mouse or it may get ignored because it is a title that shipped on multiple platforms and skewed younger. Hmmm its sounds good to me and like pspwill has said in the post before its a beta so it should be released and by the sounds of it wasn't released in the USA also.
I can confirm that it had a pal only release. Which is a shame considering the psx ver has greatly improved graphics. It be nice to play an ntsc version instead of dealing with that annoying border issue when a pal game is forced to dispaly in ntsc.
Yes it was releasedin Europe, one of he first Playstation games. It game in a double box with a music cd. Later it was also re-released as platinum without the music cd. Really a great game, I also have it on Genesis it is an very early version so many differences.

For the record, it was released on the SNES, Genesis and SegaCD (with CDDA audio). I liked the Genesis version quite a bit and although disjointed (jumping from Steamboat Willy to several other iterations of Mickey) it IS a very fun game, or at least was when I played the Genesis version way back when.
i remember reading gameplayers in 94. they said that the very first playstation game to be developed was a port of mickey mania. it was thought to be a pack in (before the ridge racer days..) i would like to see this one released too
