Not strictly a computer question, but a piece of hardware someone here can help with hopefully... Does anyone know how to switch the X-RGB2+ from 640x480 (31Khz) to 1024x768 (47Khz) It seems to support it, but given the manual is in Japanese, I've no Idea how to do it :banghead: It doen't seem to be anything obvious... or is it? Can anyone help?
I don't have a X-RGB2 but I'd think that 640x480 would be the best choice if you're using it for 320x240 video sources.
You're right, but I'm not using a 320 x 240 source, I'm using a PS2 and it's outputting 576i which my Samsung flat panel won't sync. It will however sync 31k or 47k
Holding down either button with the up or down arrows when you power on the unit will switch to one of the resolutions (down being 47khz). By the way, the X-RGB2 (dunno about 3) cannot handle a 50hz signal.
Thanks ccovell that's it! the 2 or the 2+ ?? 2+ is syncing 50Hz fine for me on 2 other displays (Sony and Wharfedale), just my Samsung didn't like the 576i at 50Hz
Most of them don't (that's what the XRGB-2 is for). I just recently realized it only emulates them in 15khz mode though. Stupid.
