Nah, not this year. Bungie isn't going to make the same mistake twice. They rushed Halo 2 after that E3 demo mistake and the game wasn't anywhere near done. Not to mention, it would be nearly impossible to launch a game to coinside with a rival system when there is no set launch date for the PS3. You can't design a game to fit a deadline you don't know. From what i've been told, i can guarantee that it won't be out this year. EDIT: And that box art comes from a Halo 2 poster. Says something like "The fight to save Earth" or something equally rediculous.
I saw "Halo 3" posters as far back as November (FYE in the Fayetteville mall), stating you could preorder the game. I honestly don't know why they bother with stuff like this when the game is obviously not coming out anytime soon.

I'm still lost. They're spending plenty by putting out these posters, yet the game isn't due for at least a year (my best guess, anyway). Besides, this is Halo 3 - it's not like they need to get this much of a head start.
The game will probably not come out until the PS3 comes out. It will help MS from having owners switch to the PS3. Halo is what will keep the system going really.
