from www.joystiq.com Is this the Xbox 360 Dev Kit? Granted, it’s all in Japanese, but heck, pictures are worth a thousand words, right? Hopefully, Ben will have more details soon enough, but for now enjoy the screenshots. http://www.watch.impress.co.jp/game/docs/20050309/msdev.htm
Nope, Just a high end PC running a new xbox & pc cross platform engine (consider it microsoft's version of renderware). XNA has been known for quite some time.
Just God? Add Allah, Buddah, and add the 27 gods on this page and then you have | | that much chance of it succeeding. rayer:
I don't think it will take an act of god. Just a smaller system and quality RPG's among other things. Microsoft seem to be making an effort this time. They've publicly acknowledged the Xbox was too big for the Japanese market. Getting Hironobu Sakaguchi is also a good first step as well.
yeah, the father of Final Fantasy is in the microsoft clan now, so you can be sure there will be more rpgs next time.
i believe it will be better. think about it they are going with standard dvd's so it isn't in the HD-dvd and Blueray debate. Plus you know they are going to do colors..and everyone knows japanese love colored systems.
ok there arent many out for the xbox but theres at least a black, green, green transparent, white, crystal, blue and i think there was a yellow one
I love how people try to say a system will pwn or fail before it's even out, or even before any public information is known. I always try to reserve my proclamations until I have actually played a system (or at the very least until I have seen it in person). Anything else, to me, is hearsay. When I do speak about consoles/handhelds winning, I do it based on what's currently available - for example, in the US, at this moment, DS is obviously winning because it's being sold right now in retail shops (I know PSP can be imported, but I guarantee you there are more DS's in use in the US, than PSP's). However, this may change when PSP officially comes out, and I will wait until I have either seen/played a demo unit, or seen/played a friend's unit, before I state whether or not I think PSP or DS will come out on top.
