    Saw a brief run through of IPTV on GamerTV at the week-end

    Didn`t get more about cost etc, but looks pretty good

    Can get rid of the cable channels :)

    For 2 meg broadband
    2 cable boxes (living room/master bedroom)
    All evening and weekend calls included
    All the telewest channels except sports/movies etc
    about £65 a month

    that's steep. Especially when I consider that I rarely watch tele at all, surely not worth the price for me o_O

    You can get fibre here for $33 if you also buy TV and Telephone for $33 each. $99 a month for all three is OK, I suppose.

    Most of us can't. Contrary to the Verizon (and other FTTH/FTTP carriers') commercials, hardly anyone can get anything better than DSL/cable in the US. :-(
