    I have a Microsoft Gold Partner award from 2010, also 2 MSI Partner of the Year 2007 awards for 2 different companies.

    They are really only for "bling" to put in your building so clients or other people can see them. The reason for discarding them is if they become outdated... or the company goes out of business.
