Aye, surprised they didn't show Banjo - maybe it doesn't compare well with Rachet and Crank graphically. It isn't due out until 2008 though, so that's the probable reason.
MS did not show anything not comming out in 2007 with 1 exception being resident evil 5. Everything else was for 2007. I'm guessing microsoft's own gaming show in Oct/Nov (cant remember when) will show off what to exspect in 08. So our beloved banjo will show up then.
They will be saving Banjo for X07 which is Microsofts own event. To be honest I wasn't expecting much just Halo Halo Halo and thats more or less what we got
wouldn't surprise me the least bit. Had microsoft done their homework and released a fully functional trust-worthy console, then it would be fun and candy all the way for them. their bad reputation regarding workmanship of 360 consoles is costing them sales, as well as after-sale services, personel and gaining them a bad name all over national news in every country, including Greece. Microsoft did most of the right moves, but their neglect for quality has proven a fatal blow to the giant's nutsack. They won't go bankrupt, not in my lifetime atleast, but the XBOX division will not produce a third XBOX in my opinion. Their bleeding from the arm so far , and although they were that close to making a profit, PR and cooked-numbers wont make them more reliable - word of mouth has spread , and it's not looking good. Most people know someone with a dead 360, and their own turn is comming soon. The games are good Joe, the graphics are awesome and XBOX Live is a paradigm for consoles to come but the console is rotten to the core and the fans have shown their distaste and anger all over again. rant aside, shareholders are not happy, and there aren't many legal ways left to pump money into the XBOX division (money laundring some funds into their account would also pose a risk, but you never know, maybe the 360 did sell 4.000.000 pieces at some random island in the middle of the Pacific!) I m not very happy with the sudden turn of things, since three platforms are better than two, but I guess we ll know soon enough.
If the 360 wasn't as good as it is I would have probably sold mine off for a Wii or just play PC or something. A system fucking dying out of nowhere is pretty bad.
