I don't mean a headache. I mean CALL A DOCTOR I THINK I'M HAVING A STROKE. I get frequent headaches Either due to sleeping the wrong way or just pusling in my head for no real reason and even more rarely the above mentioned I THINK I'M HAVING A STROKE. And from what people have told me my migraines aren't even as bad as the one other people get. Who else gets them and how do you deal? I have one now a mild dull one hence I posted this int he wrong forum section at first.
The worst migraines I have ever had made my vision really fucked up, and some times I have them quite often. So it sucks major at times.
I used to get them so bad, I would throw up. Sleeping fixed it, but getting to sleep was hard. I dont get them anymore, ever since I got braces on my teeth. So I think it was a tooth alignment issue in my jaw that was causing it.
Severe headaches you have not ever had before should be a trip to the doctor. you could have some sort of brain bleeding.
Thankfully that wasn't the case I woke up woozy but fine the next morning. They are usually at their worst this time of year. So I think it may be some sort of allergy
I'm on the fence going to the doctor. My pain is subsiding but I have been feeling ocular pressure for over a week now. I think it's eye-strain from squinting when I shouldn't -- namely when using my camera, but I realized I do it semi-randomly. Like, when I close my eyes to wash my hair (when a very weak eye-shut will suffice).
the reasons for your headaches could be also weather related, meaning when the weather changes often from cold to hot and vice versa many people are getting those symptoms.
Indeed. I only get migraines in spring and summer, so for me the season is officially over. It was a particulary benign one, with maybe three attacks total (they were quite vicious, though, I had never thrown up from migraine before). In the summer of 2008 I had persistent migraine for over a week, switched GPs and got a boatload of Sumatriptan tablets. They help, at least the 'aura' (the quaint vision one often experiences) subsides quickly to make way for a somewhat dulled headache. I still lose several hours, but not a whole day. The worst attack ever was during a three-hour accounting exam - fortunately I had a few tablets in my wallet!
some days i get murderous migrains, littraly cant see have to shut out or light or i cant move becuse of the pain, i tend to just take some strong painkillers then go back to sleep and they go. i usualy wake up with them rather than they come on but i do get headakes from just being dehydrated alot... i had a nice crippling migrain/headake at the weekend due to new glasses
The one I thought I was having a stroke, came about while I was attempting to watch Tron Legacy in 3d. Needless to say no more 3d movies for me. The other bad ones just sort of crept up on me. I get them year round but the worst ones are always in October or December.
I suffer from Migraines all the time, they would last for weeks. I went and saw a specialist, and now I'm on meds to keep them under control. If you are getting them all the time, then I highly recommend seeing a Doctor. Migraines can cause in rare cases cause a stroke. You also need to watch the meds you take for the migraines, can cause unwanted side effects. That goes for all the meds for migraines. =hugh
Magic mushrooms. Seriously. http://www.helpforheadaches.com/articles/psilocybin.htm No medicinal use indeed.
