Knowing my luck I would die on the first move, as those bastards would have plopped a mine in the top left corner.
With multiple attempts and lots of time I could probably pull it off, but it's not something I would actually attempt because it would take too long. Used to love Minesweeper years ago.
MInesweeper is OK, but there is a *much* better game, called Mined Out on the ZX Spectrum, which is the same idea, but you have to get from one side of a mine field to the another, and every step of the way you are given a number, which is the number of mines that are adjacent to you (but not their position). Later on you have to rescue people too. It's a really good game, but it looks and sounds awful, remember this was written in BASIC, in 1983. You can watch it at: and if you want to play it, then download the game from: http://www.worldofspectrum.org/pub/sinclair/games/m/Mined-Out.tap.zip and an emulator (say Specemu, or ZX Spin, Spud, or Fuse) from: http://www.worldofspectrum.org/emulators.html
