Hey Everyone, When you have a Mobo that's mini-itx, and a case thats also labeled as mini-itx, is it always gurenteed to fit with each other? More specificly, will these two fit? http://www.pccyber.com/?v=Product&i=MB-ZT-GF9300-D-E and http://www.pccyber.com/?v=Product&i=CC-AO-91.90A20.A010 Any chance these won't be compatable?
They are compatibile in the sense that the screw holes are going to line up but other then that its a crap shoot. Its possible that they would work just fine but its also possible that the heatsink on that mobo is far to tall for that case. Mini-ITX really only specifies how big the board is but now how tall components are.
You should be able to find the dimensions of the case if you goto the manufacturers website then you could try the same for the mobo and if not then your best bet would be to send an email to both companies asking if they can provide you with the relevant details for the mobo/case and then you'll see if they will fit.
Trust me, it will fit fine. However, do you plan on using a standard size DVDROM drive and 3.5inch HDD?? Those will make things a bit more cramped.
