Command and Conquer was finished before I came on to Looking Glass, and I think most of the development was done in Cambridge. I did have a DD64 on my desk (which I wish I had now snagged when I left Looking Glass) but my involvement in Comand and Conquer 64 was minimal. The DD64 was never even used. It just looked cool for visitors who were wondering what it was.

Destruction Derby 64 was the only N64 game released by the redmond office of Looking Glass. I was in charge of the replay cameras, and I shot the opening attract screen sequence seen on the game's front end screen.

Some other games that were in development were:

Warball - The only other N64 game in production at the time. It was basicly a dodgeball game, in which you could choose different kinds of balls with different strengths. I did some inital concept work on this. It kept getting pushed back and shelved for so long that I think interest in completing it was lost after a time.

Ninja: The Dark Arts - This was going to use the same engine as the Thief games, focusing on stealth and concealing bodies. Basicle, Thief with Ninjas. PS2 or PC, I can't remember what platform it was going to be on. I wasn't on this team officialy, and only did a few concept pics for it.

Surf Assault - This was a first generation surfing game concept using the water physics engine developed for the WildWaters game for the Playstation 2. At the time, there were already two other surfing games in the development phase for the Playstation 2, and I and the lead designer decided to make ours decidedly different from the others.
I made a choice to make the surfers anthropormorphic characters rahter than humans, and the Lead Designer wrote a beautiful treatment for an intergalactic surfing competition.
The game was focusing on "Mario Kart" gameplay, rather than simulation gameplay. I still think to this day that this game could have been a success, had it been produced and released.

Lol I'd be so happy and grateful if you were able to help get this to the the gamers. I know it would definitely mean alot to a ton of people. Especially because of the crushed hope this whole fiasco with the cart in this topic has been. Mainly because people have been trying to get in touch with the owner forever, now with no luck.

Plus, its definitely a game I was, was looking forward in the early days of the N64.

Anyways, whenever you have a free chance to see if you can look him up,be sure to update us on the progress.
