Ya, it really depends on how big your fingers are. In the end I went with the 1000H since i'd be programming and typing a lot on the machine.
Ooo nice...though i still dislike small storage! (8gb ssd) Canada Computers had a AspireOne with a 120gb hdd linux version for $329 today Ryan
Someone brought in a Mini 9 to work a few weeks ago to have Office installed. I was pretty impressed, even though the keyboard has been unmercifully gimped. The function keys have been delegated to the home row (using the "Fn" function key), and so have a few of the brackets/slashes (can't remember which ones, though). It is SMALL; makes my Aspire One look big. Overall, though, I find my Aspire One and the Eee's to be far more usable than the Dell, especially if you're going to be typing a lot.
Want NC10 now. Saw it instore. Mind you its £329 and my dell cost £99. Not that i have seen it ye! lol
Thanks for the info, I am still considering one but I have heard that the keyboard is crippled. I almost never use the Fn keys but some of the other ones I do use a lot. The 32GB SSD drive is only $100 from Dell which is the same price I have been finding them online. I think that I will look into the Eee or the NC10 though. They seem to be much more machine for the price. I am just going to run Linux on them so I don't need to pay more for the XP machine...if I get the Dell or one of the other machines I also might try out OS X.
