As the title says. Doing a new project and need to know what I can get away with. Google hasn't turned up anything.

    Thanks

    On the battery input?
I've got a console here I'm meant to be repairing, I'll test it for you once its done.

What are you planning to do with it anyway?

I got commissioned to make an internal rechargeable battery without using the battery ports. So I'm trying to see how small of a battery I can fit in there.

you don't want small unless you only want a 10 minute run time.

I mean physically small lol. I'd probably go somewhere between 2000~3000 mah. I just need the voltage. I think it runs at 7.2v min but I can't find anything to confirm that.

At 6volts, the power led flashes, indicating low battery.
At 5.5volts, the gamegear shuts off.

Thanks! I should be able to get away with two camera batteries rated at 3.7v connected in a series.

Charge rate would be slow using the camera battery charger though.

You'll need to add, or modify, the low voltage shut down circuit, (if it even has one) as discharging the batteries to 2.75volts each will most likely damage them.

I wasn't aware there was one. I do know there is a small circuit on them though.
