This is a Mission Impossible Sample I grabbed off of ebay a few years ago. I haven't had a chance to play through it so I'm not sure of any differences.

    Here are some pics:

Very common, I own many that have a bird's nest of wires on them.

Cool proto, if you're looking to sell feel free to shoot me a PM.

Interesting, any differences? Also I always wondered what was the point of soldering these wires to different points? Was it to fix some issue of the eproms that were soldered to the board?

Different EPROMs have different pinouts. It's not cost productive to make a board for whatever EPROMs you have sitting on a shelf.

True, though there are several dev boards (TKEPROM, SKEPROM, UNEPROM, etc.) that would allow you to toss EPROMs in without rewiring anything. If they just tossed some sockets in there, it likely would have saved some trouble.

lets hope someone dumps this before the sample succumbs to bit rot, or in other words the demagnetizing of the EPROMs resulting in data loss.
