Miyamoto and Nintendo Renewed the passion for the core

Honestly I'd love to see Nintendo bring in the guys who made Eternal Darkness (who are coincidentally working on a spiritual successor) to do some crazy stuff with the Wii U gamepad.

Underwear sales would go through the roof!

What ever happened to 3d adventure platformers? I miss the likes of Mario sunshine, banjo kazooie ext...
N64 perfected these style of games and they died out during the time of the GameCube, what's with that?

 

About time, I'd take that article with a pinch of salt though, they're not apologetic enough to my taste ;p We need to see more than well versed intentions. We got only one pic of the new Starfox at E3 and tons of videos of that painting platformer. Core is core, Pilotwings, F-Zero, Starfox, Metroid announce properly at least 2 of these and I might consider a Wii U.

 

They did, and one of their founders was busted for child porn.

 

One of them had a large ego too iirc. Shame that ED inspired game didn't get funded (or did it?) Silicon Knights was ambitious studio, but it was handled miserably. Shame.
