I was looking at how cheap the screens are (replacement) and for some reason the idea popped into my head of putting the better screen in my old ds. Think it would work? The pin count seems the same, need a bit of modding of course.
I'd be willing to try it as I have a torn down DSlite and both screens handy.. but I broke a plastic clip off of the DS board so I'm kind of screwed until I can find a way to fasten the corresponding ribbon cable to the connector.

I'd love to have a Lite screen in my Ds. I got a japanese black one, and my sister got a Lite Black, and they fingerprint like crazy and I can barely hold them. The screens are nice though.
I can't get a good scan of the reverse side of the board. The card slot holds the pcb to far from the plate to get a good image. Top screen belongs to the Lite. Bottom is the DS Heavy. Let me know if you need anything else.
