    Hi,

I've this usa saturn in which I put a modchip, burnt only 3 games, in dracula x everything is fine but with silhouette mirage and batsugun I have some problems in music playback. games run fine, no particular slowdowns in gameplay, but the music sometimes play bad, get interrupted and crashes.

    music cds play perfectly.

got only one original game (street fighter alpha 2) and not has these problems.

what this could be related? bad cd-r media? bad burning? or something related to the console, optical unit, ecc?

    thanks everybody

Probably bad images, are you using .iso images? Saturn .isos are generally poor images. Try to find good bin/cue images of games you want to burn. Also, try not to burn faster that 8x.

Garbage media you got there doesn't help.

I guess it could be your laser needs a little tweak, but I'd still look at the media first, FWIW I use Maxell and have zero issues on my US model 1 Saturn.

Also the quality of images from Isozone is unreliable, even bin/cue. There are some knowledgeable up-loaders there, but there is also a ton of badly ripped junk.

Easiest way? Put the disc in a cd player, if that works you have red book audio.
I'm not sure if you should use the cd player in the saturn itself due to you potentially having problems with it though.
