Different console coulors wasn't common for a home console back then. It was the Dreamcast that really started the whole different colour thing. Sure, there were different coloured PS2s but they came later.
You are communicating on a forum and forums use text. So what you write needs to be readable, which it is not.
You seem very angry. I was just simply explaining the situation as you clearly didn't understand with your "sigh...." comment. Also, I am free to read what ever I like, thanks. You are the one that keeps resorting to insults.
Well, I am currently prepping a top Sega Genesis 1 shell with sandpaper trying to eleminate all the deep scratches and dents and then restore the original texture (or at least try to). I have been promised a small amount of a " polymer etching product " to use on the prepped shell in order to replicate the OEM texture ( everywhere on the top shell except the 16-BIT background and the hight deff ring area. This product is from an overseas commerical plastic producer used on their production line and cannot be sold in retail form. its called LQH89 I am using a non "hight def" Genesis 1 as my guinea pig. If this would work, that means I might have a shot at restoring the OE finish and texture of plastic on these old consoles while eleminating all the scratches, damages and imperfections. Quesion? my process involve lossing all the silk screen prints on the unit. Does anyone knows of a good way to permanently transfer prints (inkjet or laser) onto plastic surfaces? As you can see, if that is possible, it would be a great way to professionally mod the apperance of the old shell adding graphics or even changing the color of the unit. ;-)
Hey Moe Best of luck with your 1st Custom Mod, Hope to see the results on here someday  and that you have better luck than me with your Thread Closed...........
