Modding AV Famicom For Expansion Auido and Stereo (NESRGB)

I have got a AV Famicom system that i will be installing the NESRGB device in, this system will solely be used with the N8 EverDrive Flash cart.

Am i right in think that in order to get the expansion audio to work with the NESRGB (if your using the audio amp on the NESRGB) is to run a wire (with resistor) to pin 46 on the game cart connector but do i also need to cut the trace going to pin 46 and 45 as well?

Also is there a guide to doing the stereo mod, ive seen mods that have just a single on/off switch so you can turn the stereo on and off at will?
