Has anyone had any luck modding powerslave engine games such as duke, quake and powerslave? I was wondering if it was possible to convert maps from one game to the other, or even levels made in the build engine.

I actually asked Bel(the guy who owns that site) and this is what he told me:

"At one point, after finding JFDuke and talking to JonoF about it, I attempted to get a hold of anyone I could from the original Lobotomy team. Unfortunately, no one had the source code for PowerSlave(they said that back then CD burners and CD-Rs were just too expensive, and if they backed it up at all it would have been on multiple floppies). Had they of had it, I was going to pass it off to JonoF so he could do a "JF" port of the PC version of PowerSlave."

He actually knows a few of the guys from Lobotomy, they flew him up to Seattle at one point to check out Quake and DK3D for being "The internet's biggest PowerSlave fan". If you have any other questions just let me know and I'll see if I can talk him in to starting an account here.

Here is the link for the "JFDuke" he was talking about:

yes, It would be interesting to hear from him, I wonder if they would release the software and tools used to make games such as slave driver, brew and peepshow.
