Modding psone's-Best chip placement. lcd screen and alternate install

    Decided to mod a few psone's. After some trial and error I think this is the best spot for the chip. Shortest wires possible. Also snagged a good deal on this lcd monitor which is great for testing.

    That's where I put all mine, but I use the soic chip on a break out board for an even tidier looking install.

    I just used my last chip. Do you sell them on the break out board?

    Yep, all mine are on a break out board.

    Thats identical to mine (I should take photos, but documenting things has never been something I am good at).

    PAL consoles need the 2 bios lines as well though.
