Mode 21?

    I have some betas I bought and the carts are all labeled "mode 21".

    Any idea what it means? There's data but it's not running on the snes properly.

    None of my copiers can read them properly. I'll have to dump them manually I suppose.

    Pardon my ignorance, but what exactly does it mean to "manually" dump cart, as opposed to not manually?

    They should, post pictures of the carts, there's something else going on. If the carts don't work even in a SNES, then it's very possible that the ROMs AREN'T Mode 21 or the ROMs don't contain a working program or perhaps any configuration switches aren't set properly.

    To dump the ROM using a device programmer.

    Are they from RARE? I recall RARE using some kind of copy protection on N64 roms..could be they had the same system on SNES?
