    Looking for a model 1 Saturn to be a guinea pig for some model 1 chip experimentation. Need something that isn't the VA0 or whatever the revision is that has model 2 components inside.

    Cables and a controller are a bonus but I just really need the console it.

    Figured as much but I didn't want to end up with something that used a DIP maskrom for the BIOS.

    I actually have one of those oddities with 21pin hardware inside. Found it randomly on the Good Will's auction site.

    The only region free BIOS chips I've got on hand are surface mount, merely a matter of practicality.

    Are you looking for the model 1 that has the top mounted power board or the other one, I think I have both, however the former is missing the laser and spindle hub.
