After watching James May's Big toys episode on Airfix last night I've had model kits on the mind. Been quite a while since I've done any but I loved them back in early teens and had a few planes, but tanks were always my favourite. In fact I've still got a t-62a sitting on top of one of my speakers...its got the 'war torn' look as it was sitting in my dad's workshop for ages so is covered in building dust and the like

Anyway, I always liked the look of the sci-fi kits, stuff like the Nostromo and other ships but I never bought one. I was browsing through that section on ebay and found a few video game related model kits like Starcraft, Armored Core, Gradius - does anyone know of any other? A database that collects this sort of info? Would be especially interested in the shmup related ones, though I can imagine there won't be many beyond the gradius lines.

I've got some Space shooter ships and robots dotted around my PC area. Very cool but a pain to keep dust free. I may end up putting them in to a display case.

I know there are Virtual On models, those aren't the kind you need glue for though.
