Is there a way to hook up a modem from an old console... Like dreamcast... And then have a box connect to ethernet.. Theb somehow the box allows you to connect to the internet? It would be nice to not spend $200 for a bba
Short answer - no. But a PC-DC server maybe an option to consider if you do not want to pay for dial-up ... or as you mentioned - the BBA. http://www.dreamcast-scene.com/guides/pc-dc-server-guide-win7/
Apparently, it can be done with a line simulator and an analog ethernet router, but probably not for less than the cost of the bba. http://dreamcast-talk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=3122
I stand corrected.... thanks for the link theid. I'd never heard of this. That would be an expensive setup.
