Modified Japanese N64 Units

Hi all

I've got a load of Japanese N64 units.

If enough people want one, I'll clean them up, RGB mod them, and remove the cart-slot tabs so they can play USA games, and knock them out at £8 / $15 / 12euros a piece.

This is ideal for someone wanting to buy a 64DD (as they only work on JPN units)

I'm just getting an idea of interest, so if you'd like one, reply to this

I thought the 64DD will work on a american N64 console.

 

its conflicting atm, my japanese 64 wont work on it due to it being a partner 64, due to ithink its special bios or something not being compatible.

 

I'd take one or two if you do it (prolly 2 really as one would be for a pet modding/destruction project). lemme know if you do

 

64dd units work just fine on american n64 units as I have one right here on my entertainment center. I play it on a almost daily basis. The only 64's they dont work on are PAL ones.

How much (roundabout) would shipping to Germany be?!
64DD? - yes looking at the info I got, it only runs on japanese models.

any periphals for sale too?

btw: are the applied mods worth being added to the assembler-wiki?
