Mogitate Sega Saturn Vol 3 + 4

Saturn demo discs given to members of the Sega Partners club during 1998/9, mostly videos that are MPEG encoded so to play them you'll need a Saturn with an MPEG card (don't think any emu's support MPEG, SSF attempts to but i've never got it going properly). I've included links to Yakumo's Segagaga site for each disc, the descriptions there are pretty comprehensive and it would just bloat out the post if i tried to describe each disc here, but there are exclusive interviews on each disc plus some tours of developers offices.

They're not, i've checked.

 

What region are the discs?

 

They're from Japan

 

I have a vcd card I can swap into my modded NTSC saturn though I will have to region patch the discs for it to boot

 

I'd love for someone to rip all of the videos from the Mogitate disc series...

 

I got a request for the other discs, i'm missing Vol 1 but i've added 2, 5, and 6 plus the extra disc Vol 3 came with, maybe a mod could change the thread title so people know it's Vol 2 - 6 available now? :smile-new:

 

I own Volume 1, but I don't know how to rip it...

 

You should be able to just put the disc in your computer and make an image of it like any regular disc :smile-new:

 

Thank you so very much for uploading these - they're a fascinating document from the last real transitional period Sega experienced between platforms (well, apart from when the company finally stopped making its own hardware).

P.S. Ave, I really hope you're able to find a way of copying the first volume for us all... that would be great! Have you tried Alcohol 120% yet?
