wasn't momotaro the story of that guy that went to that mountain? I thinkthat was one of our first things we had read in japanese when I was learning. Sure it was a childish story but it was incredible how much Japanese you can pickup from that.
I'm pretty sure that the story of Momotaro is about the old guy and woman that were farmers. They wanted a child but could not make one. Then one day while they were out near the stream a big peach floated past. The guy picked up the peach to find a little baby boy in it. Hence the name Momo (Peach in Japanese) Taro (Typical Japanese boys name). Yakumo
Back when I first started selling, I bought a collection of PC-Engine games, and got that in it. I sold it to somewhere for probably $10 or so, after it sat in my apartment for god knows how long, doing nothing. Not sure if it fetches that much cash, but it's definitely not a very common item.
yes..that's the exactly story about momotaro @GP: on the cover, there is a number "500" written on it. do you know the meaning of it? i don't think it's the quantum of the issue, but who knows^^
