This is not about a game hint or a walkthrough. my CD2 of the game has recently went belly up, only partially though. Certain files can't be accessed, as the disc seems to have suffered topical damage (yet invisible to the naked eye). Anyone having a Monkey Island 4 (for PC, not PS2) copy (original disc or else, it doesn't matter as I only need a bunch of files/folders really), please PM me. For the sceptics, this is not an illegal practice since I m not asking anyone for the game, I m actually asking for some files from it, which would fall under the fair use category, since I own the game (but foolishly didn't make any safety copies of it). Yeah, I probably do somewhere. My boss also has a machine which skims CDs - but that's only good if it is damaged on the bottom surface (i.e. not the label side) p.s. Don't bump so soon! lol
Unfortunately this disc is injured on the top side. I couldn't afford fancy-pants devices such as your boss' unfortunately
Nope, but you could afford 3 quid plus postage to have it skimmed, were it reskimmable, right? ;-) I'll see if I can find my CDs at the weekend, anyway.
