It's the only thing that put me off getting one when I got my Climax Edition on release. Didn't bother in the end.
That's what's kinda putting me off with the Driver Limited Edition. It looks nice in a packet but it's probably just as detailed as pull back car from a variety store. However how I've seen limited editions holding value or going over is insane. Bayonetta seems to be a collector's item. Especially for how much they're going for. The gun would look nice in a glass cabinet though, from a distance.
Gah, got me all excited for news of Bayo II or similar. The guns are ok quality tbh. (I have 5, one for each appendage! ) In the UK, they were a pre-order bonus at Game, but only came in the polystreyene holder / case, no fancy outer box. (Apparently there were customs issues, what with it being a gun model, so all the UK ones were openedto check the contents and the boxes discarded. Or so I'm told.) Australia got the complete (proper) item though, with outer artwork box.
Some people reported it was just a plain white box, is that what you're talking about? Any reason why the outter box was left out for the UK?:shrug:
Well the gun sits inside a polystryene holder (two part to it), which is in turn inside that lovely outer Art box that you have piccies of in your blog. The UK just had the gun, polystryrene holder, shipped in a generic box (ie just a random shipping box). And see above. The customs thing. I guess they were too lazy to put it back in the original boxes, or maybe the box was also a customs issue for us poor UKers who might think there was a real gun inside! Stunning game though. Did you get a Climax Edition in the end (I saw your tale of woe in your other thread / blog). (Actually anything PS3 Bayonetta is a tale of woe, 360 verion far better.)

That's very odd about the art work :shrug: but possibly a customs issue like you said. Weird how there was never a reason given.. Very nice game, I haven't passed the 3rd level yet (been so busy studying, and other stuff) but I loved it so far. You're right I've read about the PS3 version and a lot of people are saying the same thing, the game is better on XBOX 360. I didn't manage to get the climax edition from the store. I asked every store if they had it, even in storage. They'd either reply "no, we don't have it" or "Yes we do, but it's at the other store". So I was running around for this edition since it was $20!! Apparently they can't find it.. Looks like it was either stolen or one of the staff are hiding it for themselves, which happens from time to time. Rabid Peanut-Butter: Thank you, still can't believe it though :dance:
