Here are some more images of SDK provided cart images. There are11 in total, but two of them don't work in QMC2 which is what i used to test these.
I have no idea what these do, but here they are. i've tested 6, including the 2 broken ones.

    Player.n64
    - I'm assuming this is a sound test of some sort, but what does it mean by unknown format... stop?

    HVQ.n64
    - I don't even..... this is the graphical output in QMC2. Mess/Mame users note that the N64 driver is not fully working but still...

    HVQM.n64
    - in the same directory as HVQ.n64, but this one is not so graphically broken. just some scan lines?....

    Finally PAKFATAL.n64
    - This i would have to assume corrupts the memorypak?? idk. but it won't work if the emulator is not setup with a mempak. it runs but spits out Invalid/Other Device. THIS ONE WORKS IN PJ64... SORTA... just ignore the CiC error, and ignore the text errors after you press A.

NOTE: I WOULD ADVISE PEOPLE NOT TO USE PAKFATAL ON EVERDRIVE UNTIL WE KNOW WHAT IT DOES. THIS HAD NO DOCUMENTATION!!! IT COULD CAUSE DATA LOSS.

Just let Me know which ones you guys want. i still have others to test so check in later.

    They are all interesting :biggrin-new:

Think you mean MESS, as QMC2 is only a frontend and can't emulate anything on it's own

    From this page:

I have no idea if the result of running pakfatal would be reversible without some homebrew to dump the Controller Pak beforehand. Or even if that would be enough.

Also, from a Google translation of
http://groups.yahoo.co.jp/group/netry-press/messages/130?expand=1]this page, that HVQ/HVQM is an image compression format. From what I can gather, HVQ is a still image codec and HVQM is a video codec. Perhaps the format was used in some games? If so, I'm thinking those two ROMs merely display data in the respective formats, and the garbage is coming from the lack of such data.
