When I first got my Mega Everdrive, I had to get a more powerful PSU for my Genesis 2...otherwise it wouldn't work properly. If I add a 32X, will it need a more powerful PSU too, or will the standard Genesis2/32X PSU work properly with the 32X and Mega Everdrive combo?

Use the more powerful PSU on the 32X when the Mega is in it and the regular PSU on the Genesis side. Reason for needing more power is the hardware in the Mega. It has a powerful FPGA that could probably emulate the whole Genesis outright so it needs some juice to run properly. It'll be pulling this juice from the 32X power rails when plugged in there and no extra load on the Genesis side so regular PSU fort it should be fine when using 32X.

EDIT: I just remembered that I run a special PSU on my system. It's a model 2, 32X, and model 2 CD system. I found a PSU that is powerful enough to run all 3 from 1 wall plug. You could get that so you only need 1 plug in for the whole shebang and even have room for a CD expansion should you want it. My setup runs everything at once fine. I don't remember where I got it but do remember it was fairly cheap. Sorry...

EDIT AGAIN: I found what I got. It's called the "Sega Trio". It has 1 wall plug PSU with 3 ends for the Genesis CD 32X combo. Comes in various forms for wall voltage and console models. Get it here. Currently sold out but they might get more in soon. You could always make your own. Just need a 9 or 10 volt DC PSU with at least 4 amp output then wire your plugs to it. I had to rewire my Trio because they sent me the wrong ends on mine.

Thanks for the info sonicdude10. The Sega Trio would be a good idea to help reduce the wire mess behind the consoles. I will look into that.
