Can someone confirm this? I know it's been delayed on Japan, UK and USA, but what about the rest of europe? It seems like it's being sold normally on other european countries.
I have the game and i have to say its so much better than the last two! I love it. The Destruction element is really amazing but I can see why its been delayed to be honest. Just bad timing for the developers but when it does finally get released I hope it gets the sales it deserves
haha, bad timing by the developers. they way you say it, it sounds like they knew the earthquake/tsunami was going to hit Japan.
haha I said bad timing FOR the developers not by Its just unfortunate for them really the game is really good! And the world destruction effects are really awesome but obviously people are going to put two and two together. I just don't see what releasing it in April will do not like people are going to forget between now and then :banghead:
It's just lame because at the end of the day, it's just a game. Not only that but also a racing game. They weren't making the game to stir up controversy or offend people. However, the average person doesn't know the development cycle for a game. So if they saw this on the shelves, they would assume the company is trying to cash in on the tragedy. Don't people realize it takes more than 2 weeks to make a AAA title on a current gen console?
But it seems it's being on sale normally in countries like Portugal, Spain and Sweeden. Maybe it's just the first shipment that still in stock? I'm asking because my parents are going to travel to europe this week, and if it's available, they could get it for me. As for the whole delay thing, i think it's dumb. Did anyone delayed or didn't bought games like Modern Warfare or Medal of Honor when there was still war going on Iraq and Afghanistan?
Some HK stores seem to have the asian verison up for sale. http://www.buygame2.com/en/shop_detail.php?subcat_id=5&pageno=1&item_id=15694 http://www.play-asia.com/MotorStorm_Apocalypse/paOS-13-71-bp-49-en-70-447g.html
I'll put it on the list, with Heavy Rain Move Edition and Resident Evil 5 Gold Edtion (both have all DLC on disc). Any other suggestions?
Does the game make a big deal of natural disasters, then? Seems like a racing game wouldn't really need to worry about this kind of reaction unless it plays more like "Motorstorm: A Tsunami Just Fucked Up Japan" or something.
Theres like lots of buildings collapsing and one level has a tornado but there is no references to Japan or anything its all set in the US
Japan is just practicing jishuku which it does after natural disasters, it's not just games it's other things too.
