    Hey Guys.

I like to watch video on my iPod Nano while I'm on the treadmill. Atm I download Nostalgia Critic episodes, but I am soon going to run out. Does anyone know of any more comedy series that I could download to my iPod?

For the i-phone and I guess i-pod touch will be the same, there are a few different video formats you can choose from. Here's the info.

Video formats supported: H.264 video, up to 1.5 Mbps, 640 by 480 pixels, 30 frames per second, Low-Complexity version of the H.264 Baseline Profile with AAC-LC audio up to 160 Kbps, 48kHz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4, and .mov file formats; H.264 video, up to 2.5 Mbps, 640 by 480 pixels, 30 frames per second, Baseline Profile up to Level 3.0 with AAC-LC audio up to 160 Kbps, 48kHz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4, and .mov file formats; MPEG-4 video, up to 2.5 Mbps, 640 by 480 pixels, 30 frames per second, Simple Profile with AAC-LC audio up to 160 Kbps, 48kHz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4, and .mov file formats

I personally use 640x480 MP4 video at 2MBPS with AAC-LC audio at 160 Kbps, 44kHz, stereo audio in mp4 format. Works really well with fantastic results.

I tried tens of programs for converting DVDs to iPod. I would have had more fun sticking needles into my testicles.

Have you tried Format Factory? i used it to convert HD videos for use on my blackberry and it did an excellent job with specific settings i input. Can't say about the DVD converting because the DVD i done wouldn't play the video but did the audio when transferred to my BlackBerry although i may have a suspicion that a 1Gb+ file size was the problem but not sure if an Ipod would have the same problem?

Try Xvid4PSP it converts anything to anything. Just select source and on what device you want yo watch it and it'll do the rest for you.

Badaboom is awesome, but you'll need powerful Nvidia graphics :p

    wait!!!
the ipod actually supports way higher resolutions and bitrates! sure itunes won't copy them but then itunes is ass so use winamp. i've played back content at 1280x780 and i recall reading it can go higher (pointless but i always try and spread this info around)

    ------
i haven't converted dvd's in ages but it used to be you'd use dvd decryptor (imgburn these days) to rip the content and strip the copy protection, then use badaboom, or any other random program to convert that.

Whats the point of 1280x720 on a screen that is a considerably smaller resolution? Just going to take up extra memory, surely.
