Mr Driller PAL Promo question

    I noticed this on my PAL Mr Driller copy:

    What does it mean? Promotional copy... I also have some white label discs, always thought those were the only versions to be sent to magazines & co!?

    If I had to take a guess, I would think it would be for a kiosk. It is the full version, correct?

    I've got a couple of these (still factory sealed):

    For what I've understood, they are shop promotionnal copies of games, just like the white discs.

    Ah, thank you cyberguile. I saw some of those already on ebay, but as it seems they're not as worthy as the normal retail version (logic).

    Yes, in fact I didn't know it was a promo copy untill now.

    It's just the same as a white label version but as they were in more limited quanities they were not made in a special run and were stamped promo copy as it was cheaper and to stop them being sold to shops as reviewers generally go down to the local computer exchange and convert games to cash without so much as playing the games.
