Eh, an Impreza is an Impreza. The kiddy chavs can't afford a nice one maybe, but the ones of our age will get a "nice" Impreza or Evo. Maybe a Skyline.

I just don't really like Imprezas. They don't look much and they aren't all that. People go on about them being rally cars and what have you, but my friend's Porsche would (and did) annihilate ANY Impreza. And we're talking 70s Porsche here, heavily tuned, not some shitty Boxster! He sold it because his friend (a policeman) pointed out that he saw him going home through the village, and asked what speed he was doing. My friend replied that he didn't know, just cruising at an average pace, not pushing it. The policeman replied, "Well, I clocked you doing 165mph!" So he got rid of that and got a more sensible car... a Ferrari! Haha.

Oh BTW, I don't think you'll ever see one looking like that on the outside on the track, either! Where's the sponsorship decals? And the mud? And the scratches? And what the hell is that nice, shiny paint?!? :110: ;-)

 yeah, that's true however it does have pretty much the same handling and all the same STi parts as the rally version. Just as fast too. But the best thing about it is thatthe tax is lower and that's important for a guy who's just started to build a house and a child to support

You see, that's the problem with the UK. Labels. I own quite a bit of Burberry clothing which is regarded as classy and fashionable in Japan yet when I went home I was called a chav because of all the wankers and their Burberry caps. I was well shocked. Same with cars I guess.

And so it should given the price but ask yourself this, can a Porsche drive well in all weather? Can it be driven well by the average bloke?. Saying a Porsche would slam an Impreza is like me saying a Bugatti Veyron would slam a Porsche. Actually, you'd be better putting the Impreza against something like a Mazda Altezza or BMW M3 to be honest.

If you ever come to Japan you'll see that all sport saloons or any sport car in general driven by good drivers while the Chavs drive stupid big shitty Cadillacs or tarted up mini cars with the stereos on full whack.

 There's actually a nice whopping scratch on the left side skirt thanks to a bloody brick in the road. I'll have to get that seen too. Looks really nasty if you get down to see it.

tax lower on station wagons? wow, nice initiative there by the government. Sedans are over-rated, considering the extra space you get with estates.

Yep, lower tax. Also if you buy a hybrid you get money back from the government! Just a shame all hybrid cars are last when it come to Torque and basic power. And if Last weeks Top Gear is anything to go by then a big hefty Jag is more economical than a Prius. Also do you remember the Top Gear were they raced a BMW M5 against a Prius to see which would use the least amount of fuel. The Prius actually lost.

The Impreza is cool but I'd kill for an R34 Skyline. Too bad Mercedes screwed over the the grey market in the US.

Nice bit of dangerous tailgating going on there - one jittery driver and you'd have been showing us video footage of an ex RX8 the size of a packet of cards!

Driving through Germany was one of the worst driving experiences of my life as anyone with a driving license hitting the Autobahn thought that they knew how to drive at speed.

I have never seen so many accidents in all my life lol

Yep, worse "developed" countries in the world for driving standards are Italy, France, some parts of Japan and Korea.
