    Why not keep the 1080 and its 15% extra speed and sell your 980ti?

    Yea IDK who told you that but at least in my case the 980Ti is more then enough.
    Wait for Volta and Vega before looking at a GPU upgrade IMHO, Oh and make sure the rest of your system isn't bottle necking the card.

    The 1080 will be much faster in newer games with async compute and vulcan, dx12.
