The controls suck but it's still a good game. Well THAT makes a boatload of sense. Also, how much do you want to bet that they put the Columbine RPG on there just because of its subject matter?
Well, it might have had tons of hype at one time, but I bet it is dwindling now. Someone might buy it and think that all those delays were for making the game better, and get dissapointed terribly.
You can't really blame it to the game then. as for the colombine rpg, it just show how much they know nothing about video games.
Just because a game isn't popular among hardcore gamers doesn't mean it can't be derided as being crap. Some would argue that the reason the game isn't popular is because it is in fact crap, so the simple fact that no self respecting gamer would play it would seem to justify its inclusion on the list of crap games. Sounds like the author might know more about video games than you give him or her credit for Cahaz. -hl718
Shaqfu had some pretty decent animation for the Mega Drive. Hardly in the top 10 worst games in my opinion, though it wasn't good either.
Not as far as the internet is concerned, although someone here has stated that they think a few older builds are "in the wild." If I were the owner of one, though, I probably wouldn't make it known. I don't think 3D Realms take too kindly to prototype builds of a high-profile game floating around.
these guys have no idea what theyre talking about. first, daikatana wasnt released for the gamecube at all. second, it actually was kinda cool. an average fps, but i had fun playing it. it didnt live up to the hype and came like 3 years late, but that doesnt mean its bad.
that's like the media hating on JFK reloaded...only for the history channel to later use it heavily in an educational show about JFK's assassination.
Not only that, but should it even be classified as an industry videogame? I mean, if SCM RPG can make it on a worst games list, than should my home movies be up for AFI spotlight? It was made with RPG Maker, c'mon. Actually, I remember watching Canada AM where they spotlighted the game and they had an industry exec try to defend it. He kept trying to tell the reporter that the industry had nothing to do with the game's production and it was made by a guy in his basement. The reporter kept brushing the point off and continued to make it seem like the industry had something to do with it. I mean really; it's like calling up Warner Brothers and blaming them for a snuff film. I'm all for the mainstreaming of videogames, but when reporters don't even bother to do their homework... Well, then again, reporters don't do their homework when it comes to important issues; why expect them to make a change with videogames? :banghead:
