I took these pics today from the GD-R I have, enjoy... The game originates as a preview shown at the 2000 E3 games event. It differs from the final game in lots of ways... For instance the title screen is different: It doesn't play any opening film like the retail game does, and of course theres lots of options missing, like theres no long winded option screen that the retail has! ...Basically you can choose from a couple of cars and try out each type of race. By default it chooses the number plate 'E3' for you: I'm not sure if the tracks are different as it's a while since I played the retail ver but I noticed that when you drive through St James Park normally I'm used to taking a left, but in this ver you have to go right, but I guess that might be the same on the retail 'cos I know theres 3 St James Park tracks so it was probably one that I've not played before.
Nice one for the images. maybe you should write to Bizarre and ask them what the main differences are. They are pretty nice people down there or at least they were back in the late 90's. I'm sure they still are. Yakumo
