    Hey all!
I have a SNES i bought new in 1995. It runs smoothly other than the multi out "channel" does not work.
I've always used the Cable channel when I used it, but now, I'm having problems with that, since it looks like hell.
I tried the multi-out cable from my N64, and it doesn't work (although it does work on the N64).

    What should I do?

Try cleaning the contacts on the multi-out output, if it doesn't work there's a big chance that something in the multi-out is damaged or desoldered. In that case you should open it and check if everything is ok.

Could you do that for me?

Remember I bought you an expansion for the memory of my Laptop (hope you still have it).... We could meet somewhere and have both things done

I can give it a look, and in case that the multi-out is dead I have a non-working SNES with the multi-out in good shape, it's yours if you find someone that replaces it on your SNES (I really suck soldering stuff).

About the RAM for your laptop, PM'd

It's funny, I have issues with multi-out and Commodore 1702 monitors only. I wonder if they need cleaning, or could there be an issue with using the AV inputs on the front of these old monitors.

In my case is most definitely the console's problem
If I use the same cable for the N64 it works, on the same TV system.
But if I use it on my snes, It won't work

    It saddens me.....

BTW, Tchoin you need to come to my house next week or the other one to help me install the old consoles in my room....
The Wii is installed in the livingroom with the big TV

I will post pictures of my collection soon. Though it's not nearly as impressive as anyone else's here...
