Multimega/CDX Problem

    Hello
    I have a problem with my Multi-mega
    Black screen (no cd or cart inserted)
    LCD says "GAME"
    no mods bios or jumper.

    On CART inserted black screen after this:

    the original supplies is connected.
    where is the problem?

    If the BIOS screen is coming up, there can't be very much wrong. Most likely it's just a poor connection between the system and the cartridge. There might be some slight buildup or corrosion on the cartridge connector which is causing a bad connection to one or more of the address/data lines. Just give the cartridge you're using a good clean (I'd suggest some methylated spirits on a cotton bud), and wriggle it around a bit in the system. You should be able to get it to boot with a little bit of work.

    thanks for your reply,it's possible the cartridge corrosion don't boot mega cd bios with nothing inserted?

    Good luck with that. I had a similar problem (search for my thread). i tryed so many things without any result.

    Check your cd drive board and check for bad caps.
