Multitap SNES NTSC, PAL compatible?

I have been searching around for the answer but still don't know...
Will a PAL SNES work perfectly with a NTSC Multitap?

As you may know, some PAL SNES consoles don't work with NTSC controllers without modification.

My main question is:
* Will a PAL SNES work with a NTSC Multitap and PAL controllers? So, are Multitaps region free?
It should work, I think?
I assume a PAL SNES might not work with a NTSC Multitap and NTSC controllers though.

it absolutely will.
the wiring of the cables has nothing to do with hz or region coding on the snes.

Yes, I was thinking of that restriction.
Can anyone confirm for sure if multitaps are indeed region free?
Only some PAL consoles (maybe half, not sure exactly) have that restriction, so if it works with one PAL console doesn't mean it will work on all.

 

If it doesn't work, it's pretty easy to bridge the diodes on the controller block.

i only assumed what i said because i have a PAL snes controller that works on my SFC

 

Yes, it does work that way with no problem. But the other way is a problem sometimes.
