I took a picture of a store called Toss video games while I was there - but I didn't have time to go in and check it out. I would imagine if you find game stores you'll get 100 different flavours of megadrive / NES clones built into PC keyboards and Wii chape boxes etc (certainly if my experience in the middle east was anything to go by!). I'm not too convinced you'll find anything to get too excited by (but this is based on my very limited exposure to Mumbai on a 3 day business trip with no private time to explore).
I'm not sure. We know Sony has tried to support India, Probably with mixed results. Desi Adda: Games of India is one game they released there.
You're wrong, Mumbai has both but I'm looking for more detailed info. Can you stop replying when you don't have any constructive info?
This man speaks the truth! Ignore that moron GodofHardcore. No matter what your looking for: Scrap metal, Resisters, broken motors, video games, washers, screws, cloth, fabrics, whatever... Mumbai has it. I don't know any places to hit up personally, but I'm sure they exist because it's a major hub.
I can assure you that Mumbai doesn't have everything. lol Unlike some people, I don't have all day to look around. I'm in 3 different countries this week so appreciate information on how to use my time wisely...
If I had to guess, probably not. Mostly due to the fact that Cows are sacred animals in India (To Hindus anyway).
Anyhow, I found a few game shops near the Phoenix Mills mall and bought CHANDRAGUPTA on PS2 and PSP. Everything else I saw were modern PAL or Asian release on PS2, PS3, PSP, Vita and 360 games. Many PC games were locally printed/distributed version which were extremely cheap in comparison to other markets in Asia. A common theme with the stores I went to are that the game stock are haphazardly stacked up and a bit dirty. Stayed at one of the best hotels in the city geared for Westerners and their menu only had 1 beef item which I tried just to see how it tasted. I avoided having any digestion issues until the last day there then it was all downhill...
