Finish MEga-CD (almost done) and then, we will see; I have neo geo aes, neo geo pocket and Famicom in my mind.
I will combine one of those with the unfinishable MSX.

MSX cannot bedone, because accurate lists don't even exist.
    Add the Doujin games,etc..

Famicom is as hard as Super Famicom to make, even maybe more..slightly less games, but finding all of them CIB is kind of hard!
    Good luck!

Is your SFamicom complete? That's kickass looong collection! Congratulations!

I'll go for Famicom rather than SF, before all the rare limited games dissappear from circulation, too many and too rare to get all, i think... but, you know, life is long...

MSX is impossible to finish, yes, but I'll try to get all games I can, including the doujins and all the hentai crap. Boxes are beautiful! and because it's impossible to finish, it don't stress me <-----pokemon's fever, get them all!!!

Now I have no force of will to start a hard collection like PCE or SF, need a little rest with something more easy like ngp or so, to recover my mental stamina :) , MD was pretty hard.

    I'm finishing it,still need like 30 games or so...mainly mahjong&shogi games.
SFC collection is 2-3 times harder to complete than MD, for sure. 1500 CIB games are a pain in the ass to find...especially because it's ALWAYS the same ones that appear on Ebay,forums,etc..

Someday I'll go for SFC too, but before Famicom and GB.

GB must be real pain too. You know any complete list of GB games?

I think it's not missing the sticker, I think it never had one.

    Maybe someone can corroborate that?

    Hi there,
as I'm just beginning with Mega Drive collecting, I wondered how many (jpn) games were released in total. I remember the number 593 but I can't say if I'm not confusing it with the Dreamcast which has around 597 official releases untill now.
Do the online games (Mega Anser, Nagoya ect) count as an official release or are they hibaihin-stuff like Eyeful Home and Delisoba?

    No,they don't count.
So far this number includes the 110 (approx) Mega CD & the 18 32X releases as well.
But i think it's more like 555 than 593 IIRC.

I count them for a complete collection but it is only because I was told by a Japanese collector that they was available to buy by mail-order or in shops. I think maybe it is best to decide for yourself if to include hibaihin-stuff, whatever system you collect for. Nobody can say they do or don't count for sure.

Edit: I checked my older e-mails about it and he wrote this in his reply about them:

Yes, I count the above too as regular soft since you could purchase those in shops or through mailorder directly. As soon as it doesn't belong to "not for sale" soft and was fully produced & ready for shipment to dealers we count it as "normal" software.
SegaModem Go version is very rare. It has been over 5 years since I saw the last copy.

Hardest to collect for me was: Itchy and Scratchy, Warlock, Nagoya Bank soft. I heard Warlock is cheap and easy to find for American Mega Drive though. So it may be not interesting for you.

It was ok for me to show what he said, I would not of if he said no.
