I still don't understand. Are you interested in murals that include some message about history, or that are themselves pieces of history, or just murals in general?

?????? This is an odd thread. Many posts don't make sense but I'm guessing that if you have some "art" on the side of a building near you then post a pic here for all to see? I always thought a mural was like a coat of arms or something like that, not a painted building. Oh well.

Here's a Keith Haring mural which he painted with the aid of grade school kids in the late 80s:

A mural is quite literally a painting on a wall.

Ahh now I understand. You mean murals that depict something left behind in history right? Like the people who used to live on a building, costumes, events, etc? My hometown's main square has a wall depicting the city when it only had dirt roads and the Japanese Overseas Development Company (edit my translation might be off, it was called Kaigai Kogyo KK) was fully operational. In fact my city was the first permanent settlement of the Japanese in my country, interesting huh?

Too bad the mural is a little beaten up and I'm far away from the city, or I would take a picture and post here. It's not oh so pretty street art but it's cool to see.

Beer and potato chips, a marriage made in heaven!

UTZ isn't local to B-more though, right? They're from PA. Close enough, I suppose...
