Has anyone here heard, or knows anything about the new sound setup? Factor 5's input was pretty nice and fundamental in the design of the GameCube, so I was wondering if they have kept up and extended it? is MusyX Factor 5's property? or did nintendo get it and can do with it as it likes?

Isn't MusyX the name of the power drink in Blue Stinger or Headhunter on the Dreamcast.?

no its factor five technology, most apparently advertised and mentioned in the rouge sqaudren games. I do belive factor 5 owns that technology and licensses it to nintendo.

it's more than what's inside their games. Both GBA and GCN have had their audio parts made fully compatible with MusyX. Let's not forget that Factor5 are audio wizards. I ve got some of their tools for the original GB/C and their N64 stuff gave decent sound that was found in later games. If you visit their website, you should be able to find some information (technical) about how their technology works, partially at least.

Well in Blue Stinger it was the Hassy. Not sure about Headhunter though.
