MV1-FS power

    My buddy accidentally pulled off the ground cable from the capacitor on his MV1-FS which connects to the power socket. The cap doesn't look damaged, however the wire doesn't seem to want to reconnect to the leg of the cap it was soldered to.

    Is it possible to leave the power connected to the capacitor and attach the ground wire to one of the other nearby capacitors? Will any ground point on the board suffice?

    Sort of. You can have multiple separate grounds.

    But for this example, yes.
