    Hey guys,

I finally got my mvs board and my supergun.

The problem is, I only have 1 game the 161 in 1 cartridge.
The seller made a video with this board working with an original cartridge so I think the problem might be the cartridge itself or some incompatibility with the board.

The board self tests are, also, OK.

Does anyone have any idea of a possible solution?

Is your BIOS stock? I hear they don't play nice with UniBIOS. Is there enough power supply? The cart will draw more power. If you are using some small PSU maybe that could be the problem. I use a big computer power supply for mine. But I also have the very original 1 slot MVS, the MV-1 I think with the metal cart holder.

I think the problem lies in the restauration the guy did on the board. The left corner is broken so he rewired all the traces.
If he lost one this could be it.

Now we're talking about returning this board and he shipping me a 4 slot board. But he said he once tested this board on this supergun and got no sound.

    The model is this: NEO-MVH SLOT4FS M1BBV .
Do you have any idea why there's no sound?

Broken pot for amplifying the sound maybe? Maybe it's set to output stereo sound and not JAMMA mono sound? Plenty of things could result in no sound. Maybe even bad caps or something.

I'll receive my new MVS board tomorrow. It's a horizontal 1 slot so I'll be able to tell if it's a cartridge fault or hardware.

I've had several 4 slot boards with no sound.

    http://www.arcadecomponents.com/capkits.html

Buy the cap kit for your board off of that site, and it should start working after you replace everything. (or buy local since I see you're in Brazil)

I'm still waiting for my horizontal 1 slot board to arrive.
I decided to give a shot with another seller but it's taking forever to arrive.

This week I'll be travelling so only next week and I really hope it works because I'm tired expending money on neogeo without any lucky :(
