Is it just a luxury shell for an MVS or is it something else?

    Also found this on YT:

It's a consolized Neo Geo MVS, meaning they take a neo geo arcade board & mod it so it will work like a home console. Some of these mods let it work with a regular home TV, accept the neo geo controllers, accept a 5 v wall wort power supply, or installing a custom bios. These guys also have a nice looking case for it as well.

People do this because generally, MVS games are cheaper than AES game. That price is on the very high end for a consolized MVS though (you're really paying for that needlessly fancy case), and if you have soldering skills, it can be pretty easy to do it yourself.

Holy crap, $715 USD? That's really high for a CMVS. Looks like a cool design though. Changing the cart looks like a bit of a hassle with this unit. Personally I like the top loading style MVS boards.

The interesting part would be to know if they use old (refurb) or new PCBs for the mainboards.

And what about the edge connector that's on the back?
