    Very nice work.

Works on real hardware perfectly fine.

I would not mind trying to make one also. Learning from your code ;)

Nice to see someone still interested in PS1 dev.
I downloaded the intro; hope to try it soon.
Thanks for the source code, I'll take a look at it and see what I can learn ^_^

Whoa... I've tested it on epxse. Awesome! Do you need the special hardware to build this app or only the sdk? I'm really curious, please tell me how.

I'm not at home right Now ( writing from my iPhone xD ) , btw u can develop using only The sdk ( software ) and an emulator ( for test your code ) ... Then u can test in The real hardware using an empty cdr or an xplorer/ar flashed with caetla ;)

You know what's absurd? That this very simple intro got 8 replies, and yet things like real new homebrew for the PlayStation, such as my CHIP-8 emulator or Shendo's BIOS to Memory card dumper, is totally ignored here. Amusing; I can say, because I know the author of this intro more than most of you, that to write this programming "piece of art" the author needed more than two months... and best of all, he used the PsyQ libraries which, as everyone knows, is a reeeally good way to help open source. SVN, anyone?

You Are really mean tails92. I feel sorry if Your sdk isn't soo used , but i've explained you that I don't use it coz The libm.a doesn't work , so I can't use math functions with psxsdk.
And , as you said, this intro is almost simple , so can be useful for Who want to start psx coding.
    You Are really really mean.

EDIT: ah yes , i needed two months coz I've used 1 month to try to Make Your sdk to work with libm.a support ......

Some people just dont know how to watch what they say. They believe its ok to say whatever they want because they are safe saying it from their side of the monitor, in their nice, safe house, in some unknown part of the world.

Anyway, I'll download this later and try it out, once i get epsx working right.

wow seriously i think its out of order you belittling his achievement

whether or not you think its worth posting about creating your first intro or not doesn't give you the right to basically say that because he isnt at the same coding level at you he shouldn't be shouting about his achievements, well he fucking should and whether or not it took 2 months or 2 years he stuck with it and got it done which is the important thing

sorry were not all at your level, didnt realise it was so elitist around here

I read it like he was just annoyed that "big projects" get no replies - but a simple intro does.

Just sounds like he feels under appreciated.

Honestly, I kind of agree with tails. Important and intricate projects are in some cases totally ignored for whatever obscure reason.

But u have to consider that with this simple project many people can learn the basics of psx coding.
    And , this part:
is just a rudeness against me ! and I just hate tails92 for this kind of things.

    That's all ... please return in-topic ;-)

maybe but everyone has to start somewhere, i would like more info about the Bios to Memory Card app but i wouldnt know to search for something like that until its been posted and i have seen the thread, if the threads exist why didnt he link to them so we can get some more info, maybe the reason Tails is not getting the recognition he wants is due to not posting enough info about it or not making that info visible enough to other members, i've no doubt people want o see these apps but if no one see's the post then how can they know about it and reply to it

it's not like the other projects are not interesting but once someone has programmed something then as a programmer and a console enthusiast I am very interested in

    a) seeing the work
    b) seeing the code behind it to learn something myself

i want all of this whether the project is big or small, and regardless of if the app itself is deemed useful or not, people can make up their own mind on whether something is worth their time looking at or not.

I never said I wanted recognition, I just pointed out what happens here and why it is undeniably true.

And it is not true that I haven't posted about my projects, I have posted no less than was posted about this intro. I don't know why many of you have taken this so personally or think I did this because I was offended that you did not give me "recognition", think that I was angry towards Avanaboy behind the "safety of my monitor", or even think I am an "elitist".

Live and learn, people. When someone points out an obvious flaw, do not take it personally, but make the tip improve you.

you seemed to be taking it personally that people had responded to this post but ignored others that you had perhaps posted or that you thought were more worthy of attention

my point still stands, i saw this post so i replied, i didnt see your posts so i didnt reply

personally im very interested in all aspects of development, but if you want people to know about these things and reply then post info, bump it, add to it, do whatever to get it out there, you accused people of ignoring stuff but if they haven't seen the posts, if you want people to respond then its like marketing, you actually have to work to get it out to people and raise awareness

and im sorry but what tip did you offer? you criticised the libraries he used but didnt see any tips from yourself

my main point still stands, if people dont see you posts then they wont know about them or reply unless someone else tells them, well you need to get some info out about your projects and maybe post more about them for them to get seen
